CATS and DOGS and BEARS
RAIN and HIGH WINDS!
We have had 10 hunters and 10 bears so far this spring. Yesterday was day 1 of our last week-7 hunters- seen 9 bears- 4 of them huge but no shot as the weather was very cold windy wet which makes bears very skittish. I am surprised we saw any bears at all, but 9 showings only due to our exceptional baiting practices.
Rain and high winds set in today, nobody going anywhere. Area is under extreme flood watch due to the extreme high water levels and very high north winds. We'll get after them tommorow, when the sun is supposed to be back. Going to be a long day for everyone, hopefully the power stays on.

There is that famous "buck down smile" of hers. Lily has shot many deer, her biggest was in 2021 but this one is a dandy too.
