COLD!
or are we spoiled from the warm winter we have had. My dogs sure do appreciate a stint in the house at breakfast and supper. They are getting old and live all winter in their dog house, although better insulated than most homes, is also covered with straw bales and snow, sheltered from the wind and has a blanket for a door.
The trucks start well after being plugged in but dam they take a while to warm up.
Supposed to be warmer by the weekend, that would be nice. The winds are terrible adding a major wind chill to the temps. Oh well we are Canadian and have been through much worse, as long as we have the clothes, use them, it's an excuse to look silly in toques and scarfs an what not. I follow the old adage "nothing on the head, nothing in the head" hahaha i love that saying. Seen a few teens without any head gear this morning, even my 6 yr old commented on their lack of appropriate dress. Walkin tall, lookin cool with frozen brains.
Off to inspect my new lodge repairs then finish some flooring work at our valley riverside lodge. Dike is looking good too. Hard working crew there doing a heck of a good job.
