Getting back on our feet.
Rebuilding the lodge after the fire this spring. A fire that started in the lodge spread to cabin #1, home and many buildings. Thank fully nobody was hurt, only buildings, equipment and valuables were lost. It has set us back big time as we had to cancel our spring bear hunts. As a result we have several tags for this fall available.
Yes we will hunting tbe his fall. We have been working very hard trying to get things back in order and start rebuilding. Time is not on our side and neither the weather but we plan to start digging in 2 weeks. We will have combined cabin #1 with the lodge plans so there is now going to be rooms inside the lodge. We still have 3 cabins and several other buildings still standing. We will be busy this summer making things happen.
I want to thank everyone who has and is helping us through this big mess, especially my brother Emile who is always ready to help no matter what, and help is an understatement! Thanks.
This has been a real rollercoaster for all of us, having never experienced such a disaster before,I sure hope it is the last time. It really makes a person look at fire Safety more closely, especially where your family sleeps.
Anyhow, stay tuned for pictures and updates on the rebuilding progress, i would post the building plans but those things cost me $4 grand! Not going to give them away on the internet, hahahaha
Bye for now,
