Life/work is more manageable now
I can breathe a little easier now, my stress level has dropped considerably and even though the lodge rebuild is not complete we achieved the number one goal to have it closed up and heated before winter. The power is on, furnas is running, some plumbing and even drywall going up. It is going to be a very nice lodge once done, 1674 sq.ft of nice lodge with a great room sporting a 24ft high cathedral ceiling and plenty of wall space for mounts and such. Can't wait to see it complete but also want to take my time and do it right, as i am planning to do some of the finish work myself. I can't say it enough how much i look forward to having an office again! It has been very hard trying to run the business without an office, internet not to mention my entire office full of records, contacts, notes, maps, books, files, computer programs, notes, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.............. all burned up, ashes and memories are all that's left.
So, i am now working on trying to make sense of the books for 2010 and sorting out all the insurance records/reciepts. What a nightmare that is, but a necessary requirement of insurance. Time and patience are both important facets of dealing with this unfortunately. So 2011 is close and i can't wait to close the book on 2010!
