My 2024 buck
This is one of those bucks that grew as i walked closer, no ground shrinkage! There is a heck of a good story to go with this one, like all hunts with great friends and family. Ask me and i'll tell you all about it sometime. I am very happy things worked out and he will be on my wall with the others, reminding of the great times chasing these intelligent beasts. I felt somewhat guilty shooting this nice deer but my girls said no way, it was my turn because i am always putting big deer in front of others and haven't shot a deer in a few years myself. But that's what i do as i love seeing others, especially my girls, have success and collect memories. Moments like these will be permanently etched in us, ensuring a desire for more days afield enjoying the thrill of what nature hides from so many who don't know where to look. It is nice to put your hands on a mature whitetail that you hunted fair chase. FYI, his age and size has sausage written all over it, not tender steaks haaa. Until next year, when we do it all again, keep your powder dry and your aim true.
