the waters have subsided. It may rise again with very warm temperatures forecatsed but the early first runoff is almost done. I was very happy to see my yard dry again. At Valley Riverside the river has gone back behind it's banks. At Riverside Duck bay the river is open and my boat launch is now not under water anymore. Like i said, it could come up again but the big rush of runoff is done.

We started our spring cleaning on the cabins and getting ready for our spring bear hunts. Feels good to actually be preparing for our hunts. We are very excited to get on the water and into the bush for some hunting. It feels like we havn't done that for awhile. The lodge is going to be great to host from, our new cook has some great meals planned, we have a new guide who everyone will really enjoy, new equipment to run and i think i am going to hunt for a big bear this year too. Need to replace my mounts and there is only 1 way to do that.
