Winter is here!
We went from unseasonably warm,,,, to more normal temps. It was -31 C this morning on the truck stat. My poor dogs don't know what hit them, frost around their mouths this morning waiting for their breakfast. It sure changed quickly, just like always.
Dike is half finished and main lodge repairs are half way done too. Things are going fairly well, still lots of admin work to do, and procrastinating is not helpful. But i am also under the gun to finish repairs/renos on our newest location so we can all move back in. Going to be nice to get our lives back in order and return to normal. Kids are excited and so are we, fe more weeks and there will be some great changes.
Hunts are selling very well this year. Very noticable improvement from past 3 years. Sign that the economy is bouncing back, and hunters are returning to their passions.
